I just recived rookie pledge plus box of replacement cards. They still are fifty shades of blue. All of them are skill cards.

I can confirm this. Using the replacement cards, I can clearly identify
the Curse cards in the action deck
.

I can also see a difference on the updated french version, but it is more subtle...
