I can't check the english version of the game to detect an error, but this kind of features exists on several cards.
For exemple : you can't find an access because of the montain, but from the other side, there is a discrete path. Do you have a specific question about this ? T7Continent : T7Citadel : Posted
I guess the question is just making sure this is intended. When I asked the question we didn't realize that the terrain is still "reachable" from either side even without the connecting arrows.
So as I understand it now, we can freely move back and forth between these two cards - until we save. If we save from the far side, we lose the ability to go back? It seems odd. Apart from the "am I right" question, I'm curious about the reasoning (theme-based and mechanic-based) for this. Posted
The theme-based reasoning is :
- You found an discrete path A->B, impossible to see it from the other side (B->A) because of any geographic reason. - For all the day, you're be able to use this path (walk A<->B). - After a (good ?) night or rest, if you're in B, you forgot where the path arrive exactly. - But with effort, sometimes, it's possible to find this difficult access (hidden number). For the mechanic-based reasoning : It's a interesting thing to create one-way path. For example, you have to find a very difficult access to the Dungeon. But after killing the boss, you exit the building and you directly find a shortcut to the nice place that you visited before where you can rest and eat. A good level design need those one-way paths.
