I have finished recording my beginners painting guide for The 7th Continent. I will post here when I have finished editing it. It will be posted to my youtube-channel Happy Crappy Paints. I am a beginner and amateur myself and do not profess to show anyone the absolute way of doing things, but you may find some tips in the video once it is up.

I managed to paint the minis in the base game (i.e. not the rock worm) in one afternoon/evening, so it's a speed paint.

I am really missing a breadcrumb on the forum, meaning the list of links to where you are in the forum. This makes it so much easier to navigate. Or am I just blind and can't see it? At the moment, right after you post a reply, you are taken back to the thread you wrote in... you have to click on "Forum" again to continue browsing topics.

That is how I have interpreted it as well. It makes sense if you hold the cards in your hand, in your hand, and not have them face up on the table. When you then craft an item you play it face up and put a dice on it. Voila, the card is no longer in your hand and do not count towards your hand total.

If you play with your "hand" face up on the table, I suggest keeping the cards in rows. The row closest you is your "hand", and the row closer to the center of the table are your items.

Crafted items from skills are also easily discernible by the cards having a dice on it.

For some reason http://www.the7thcontinent.com redirects to https://www.the7thcontinent.com for me and Chrome prevents the page from being displayed to the use of an unverified certificate.
