There was a slight delay, but some people have gotten their tracking numbers now.

Yes, that works the same way.

You reduce the uses on the item to 3, draw cards and then you can decide if you want to use the bolas effects, of you do you add those stars and discard the bolas, if you don't, you only use the stars from the club, but keep both cards at 3 pips.

There won't be any retail so base, stretch goal and KS exclusives are all mixed in (except Swamp of Madness, which, like all expansions comes in a separate little box).

They sold them through the pledge manager reopening, so supplies are probably low at this point (if there are any).

Finally something to do with XP when you finished the advanced cards! We ended up with 28+ XP on our last run after finishing offering and buying all the advanced skills.

Do we know what the "Depressed" card looks like yet? It might be a step too far if it's a very tricky state. Another disadvantage is having to wait until next year to try it out.

I also thought of Dr. Dolittle when I saw Amelia Earharts Card.

1. I'm replaying it now, it's pretty good at keeping things fresh, although I needed a break after playing it about 10 hours once a week for a couple months straight.
2. How are you defining a "game"? A session? A curse? A first curse?
3. Keeping, although if the prices climb high enough it may get tempting.
4. I don't know. I don't know of any objective way to measure the worth of a game. I enjoy this more than Gloomhaven but based on BGG I seem to be in the minority.

Yikes. It *might* be cheaper to ship to a friend and have them send it to you, if that's an option.

Yes, sleeve edges, a typo. (Also, I'm a she).

The map fits together beautifully, some of that is sacrificed when serve edges get in the way.

MakyMarco, delivery is scheduled for the first quarter of 2019.

I've never played 7th Continent, and have never used Kickstarter before.

Since I'm starting from scratch, I'd like to get the base game and all the expansions.

I have several questions:

1) Should I order the "Rookie + Full Gameplay" bundle (for $249 US)?

If you like the game and can manage-yes, that's all content (except BGG/Tric Trac cards) and it's what I got, so I think it's a good deal. That being said, the base box actually is a full game. You'll only know content is missing because you've heard of the expansions.

2) Which of the Optional items would you recommend (e.g., dice, promo cards, etc.)?

I'd get sleeves and maybe promo cards, if you get accessories. Five promo cards that add variation, a new item and a new state. The cards are somewhat fragile, I'd sleeve the action deck (but not the whole game), the dice and notebook seem thematic, but no more, and the playmat would probably force more saves than I like, I take up the whole table.

3) How do I compute the total shipping (presumably Wave 2, and I live in New Zealand)?

Add the boxes and expansions for your area for wave 2.

4) Once I've decided which items to get, and have computed the shipping, how do I actually place an order (or "pledge")?

Through the CrowdOx Pledge Manager, which can be accessed through this websites home page.

[quote=tripecac]5) What are "Pledge Manager", "CrowdOx", and "Stretch Goals"? /quote]
CrowdOx is this campaigns Pledge Manager, they provide the platform by which you pay and order and Serious Poulp gets the order. A "stretch goal" (or goat!) is a small bonus the game-maker gives when the game hits certain goals (if we collect 2 million dollars, we'll add Amelia Earhart to the game). This campaign had many stretch goals but nothing is left, you can't add anything by pledging now, though you will get all the stretch goals unlocked during the campaign.

Totally depends. I get rid of
Paranoid
quickly, because it's easy and I try to get rid of
Bloody
ASAP, because
it makes hunting so difficult
. On the other hand,
Injured
is likely to linger until I find a helpful item because
I don't want to risk getting bloody
and I'll wait for an opportune moment to get rid of
Tired
.

"The gourmet effect is his heal. It is significantly better if you can eat food in the same stack -- it chews through durability quickly otherwise."
When you eat, you consume one food at a time, so if you had a stack of two meat, you'd have to lower the durability by two to use the ability twice.
More importantly, thanks! This looks super cool! I look forward to playing with him soon!

I would say you have to be at a time when both could be used. Obviously the ability you're triggering has to be applicable otherwise, why trigger it? But it says "IF you could use a botany card" so you actually have to be able to use the ability you're trading on. So, if you're on a card with Fortiflore you couldn't use the Vampolina ability mid-action, since you wouldn't be able to use the Fortiflore ability at that moment.

SP said there'd be an opportunity to change your address before wave 2 shipping. Sucks about your stuff, but on the bright side you'll get new upgrade cards at least with wave 2.

Great, thank you!
