In addition, you can
craft any item here with a help of few :card_blue:-3 cards and since you can get all :card_pick:050 cards you can buy all Advanced skill :icon_hand_blue: cards using the A0396 :card_pick:050 card.

The other card that can help to exploit this is
Lovecraft's Dark whispers (A0091): :card_blue:-1 and/or :icon_succes::icon_succes_7: on :action_think::action_orientate::action_pray: actions.

Then, apparently, the problem is only on the English version of the card.

Yes, it looks like it asks for ignoring the card. The text was probably just copy'n'pasted from a back, where it would make perfect sense, but it was not edited appropriately so it does not fit well for the front of the card.

The text I'm referring to is on the front of the card, not on its back. Please note there are three different :card_pick:069 cards.

On the front of card :card_pick:069 (A0420) there are these words:

... instead of revealing this ...

The card is already
revealed
so
instead of revealing
makes no sense.

Rulebook at page 22 says:

The new character’s figure is placed onto the same Terrain card as the other figures.

Questions:

  1. In the game there are various figures: character figures, fire figures, rockworms, weather figures (and more comes). Since the cited sentence does not specify the figure type, could the new player place his figure on a Terrain card with a fire figure, or rockworm, even there is no other character figure on that Terrain card?
  2. In a case the answer to previous question is "no", does the cited sentence mean that all other character figures should be on the same Terrain card? For example, when 3rd player is joining a game while player #1 is on Terrain A and player #2 is on Terrain B, should they group together before player #3 joins them?

The official card list shows that the base game contains two 289 cards only (A0751 and A0752), the third 289 (D1167) comes with the Swamp of Madness expansion.

:move_arrow: is not an action, it is a consequence.

The solution could be found on a card that's
reachable using one :move_arrow: from a card where you can sacrifice goat
.

You need to explore the continent more to find a solution for this puzzle.

The other possible solution is just to
create new gold :card_pick:159 card with the same front as it is now at :card_pick:152, but with removed sentence "Pulling the sculpture from the wall" while the card :card_pick:152 would just say:
Banish 118. Banish green 159 and replace it with gold 159. Banish this.
.

Possible fix would be to add text
"Discard Sculpted flower :card_pick:118 from your inventory"
right after
"You notice one free slot and fit the sculpted flower into it." at card :card_pick:152
and also add
"Take :card_pick:118"
to the end of the white box (success) for the
:action_open: action at card :card_pick:152
.

Once you put your
Sculpted flower :card_pick:118
to the right place at
card :card_pick:159
you will end up with two such items. One is in your inventory and the second one at
card :card_pick:152
. This is not a big problem if you'll immediately perform the
:action_open: action at card :card_pick:152
because the text at
card :card_pick:152
says:
Pulling the sculpture from the wall ...
, but if you won't do that you will literally have two
Sculpted flowers visible: one in your inventory and the second one on card :card_pick:152
.

This, unfortunately, does not work thematically.

Rulebook, page 9:

>> Take the Adventure card indicated on the Clue card you have chosen (take the lowest numbered one if you have chosen multiple Clue cards), ...

Indeed! I forgot to check that :-). Thanks.

Gold card #281 (A0741)
directly summons card #311, while at the back of card #311 (A0789) there is :card_pick_thumb: with number
281
. The :card_pick_thumb: icon at card #311 looks superfluous (and confusing).

Some items have this wording:

If this leaves your inventory, banish it.

Should this card be banished if I give or swap such item with some other character (Rulebook, p. 21)?

The Kickstarter page says:

Free Upgrade pack

This pack contains cards that will allow those of you possessing the first edition of the game to upgrade it to the second edition and 4 additional dividers to help you search for cards more easily (Characters' Skills, "004", "051", "109"). It includes any cards that may have been changed or corrected after the first campaign.

NOTE: This pack is included in the Veteran pledge (which is specifically for those with a copy of The 7th Continent from the first Kickstarter campaign)

Will the Upgrade Pack contain the updated Player Aids and Rulebook too?

Will be such small typos fixed in the base box 2nd edition? If so, I suggest to create an add-on (some reasonable fee would be okay) with all updated content (ou -> or cards, updated player aids, updated rulebook, etc.) to allow veteran backers to upgrade their 1st edition set to get the (almost) exactly same stuff as it would come with the 2nd edition set. Fixed errata (13 cards now) and few new dividers are good but I'd like to get everything updated.

I suggest to adjust the following line on the player aid (see Rulebook, p. 11):

-X :card_blue: / +X :icon_succes: as chosen by the players (collective action only), if the action is not :icon_locked:
