Thank you for confirming. I think possible solution for errata could be adding the sentence to the card:

You can take each of the actions below not more than once.

Not really sure if exploit or intended, but can be quite strong effect:

In the taverns (any city) there is a action_listen action and the reward is
150card_pick
(depending on your Threat). Since the action cost is zero and the card is not discarded, it can be used any times to fill your hand with any card without limit.

What is the error? What do you think needs to be changed?

So there are these two exploration card encounters (Area II and VIII), which are very similar, but the first one is not discarded before the paragraph 176 is read, the second one is discarded. Paragraph 176 implies that the
creature is defeated
, so correctly the first cards should be also discarded if the paragraph is read. Please confirm.

Any fan-theories what area will this threat expand? Judging from the graphic it is a mountain area and it goes to the North. My guess it will be Gadalroc and the Sunset Mountains.

Hello !
I moved your question in the Error part of the forum, for checking.

1/ I read these 2 cards and it's maybe a way to have this effect available twice (no less, no more) ?

2/ I have also a doubt about the first sentence :
You may discard 1 Reflex Skill from your hand to ...

Who keep these cards in his hand ? All of them have no effect in the blue part, right ?

There are some advanced skill effects which activate if you discard reflex skill cards from your hand

This card allows to:

1:
Return provision to return weakness

2:
Return a gear to get another gear depending on the plant on the terrain

Are these "actions" independent or 2) can be done only if 1) was activated?
And why are these "action" using term "involved character" if those are not even action?
Posté
You must choose the active player when there are several involved characters.

It happened to me numerous times that I couldn't find a card because I returned previously on the wrong place. E. g. I put 099 card behind the 100 divider (instead of before) or put somewhere else completely, for example card 234 to the place of 334, 105 to place 150 or similar number swaps. So when I can not find a card I check the whole game box, and I always find it.

How do you understand this Epic trait? according to the rules, no player can be active for two turns. but it makes no sense because according to the rules, an inactive player does not take part in the fight.

The involved characters alternate who will be the active player who takes the fight action. Normally only one character can resolve the action, but: there are some effects, skills which apply to all involved characters and the non-active player can use some skill cards to affect the action of the active player.

So, you think the 451s ho back at the end of the threat, so you can reuse the crown in the next threat?

Of course. New threat is a new game, everything is put back to the game box, including banished cards. So you start the new threat as you started the first threat.

What happens if you still have side deck 451 cards in play at the end of the game?

End of game you mean after you finish the Threat? You return all the cards to the game box.

You don't need to remember. Every time you read such a dialogue make a note on the citadel leaflet with the dialogue number. Then you will know which one you have already encountered.

The chain symbol limits the number of cards you can consider stars from, but does not limit the class symbols you can take into consideration - you get them all. So if you're trying to use a class-symbol-specific card for a chain action, overdrawing cards is better than you might think.

Our problem is more that the actions we have in deck make very little use of the class symbols. The vast majority of the action cards which use class symbols are of the kind "use it for this veeeery specific action then block it". On the other hand, evolving a character would mean to us to permanently improve one of its capabilities, not giving him a one-time-shot of an operation nobody really needs in that moment.

Even worse are the capabilities given by birth. My character, for example, has the special "abilitiy" that something interesting will happen when it is extremely weak. What could be more frustrating than the task to be as weak as possible? I'm not really participating in play, only shuffling around trying to be as clumsy as possible to eventually get enough weakness. That's not very much of fun.

Seufz. I've spent a lot of money for this. Hopefully it will get better before my fellow players lose patience ...

(I'm not writing this just to moan. My hope is to trigger comments exactly like yours, pointing out things we are possibly misunderstanding. Thank you for that!)

Strange because I don't have this experience. I know there are cards, which are blocked after use, but not the majority. There are also items which convert symbols to success not of companions! Some companions can convert any symbol to success and they don't get discarded at all.

Sorry, yes of course the card is banished, not blocked. The
hidden number on the blocked card is 121
but I don't recall the original card number (the game is packed away as we're moving in 2 days).

If the card is banished, you cannot draw it again in this threat.

The inn is never blocked. It can be banished, in the past or in the tray.

Yes, you are right, the problem is the word "DURING" here. I think they meant BEFORE the first Gear-up step.
Posté
It does not need correction because there is no contradiction. This is not a purse card, so it is not selected, its effect is active automatically and because the card's effect always overrides the rulebook (in this case the leaflet), Ambush is simply ignored.

The problem only occurs when a PURSE card is intended to cancel Ambush (example card A0632), since it is not even selected with the current definition of Ambush (skip the first gear-up step). The solution is to change the definition of Ambush to
Ignore selected purse card effects in the first gear-up step.
. This way the purse card can be selected and the "ignore Ambush" effect takes precedence over the Ambush effect.

Maybe they don't know yet how many cards will be unlocked at the end of the campaign? No other idea comes to my mind.
