I have now convinced myself that there are errors with cards 681 and 736. To my knowledge, all other instances of permanent events in the game that have 2 or 3 arrows have a green numbox indicating where they are supposed to be placed. As an example, green card 390 has an arrow pointing north with a green 258 in it, and an arrow pointing east with a green 284 in it.

Green card 681 should have a green (or maybe white?) 789 pointing north and a 587 pointing east.

Gold card 681 should similarly have a 789 pointing north and a 587 pointing east.

White card 736 should have a 284 pointing north, a 587 pointing west, and a 675 pointing south.

Photos of the 3 cards in question, as well as 390 as an example:

Can these be added to the official 7th Continent errata pdf as well as replacement card images be created so that they can be printed out?

Thank you!

Yes, there's another terrain card there which has a similar action that provides card 736. And then again another terrain card northeast of there which also gives 736. So based on all of that, it's clear that 736 is supposed to go above 675. The problem is that there's nothing on 736 itself indicating where it's supposed to go. This would be extra confusing if it was initally placed below 675 and then 695 was never revealed. Then later another action is taken to reveal 736 again, but it's in neither the action deck nor the past (because it's already active on the table).

Normally I would agree with you, but that was before encountering card 736! Behold:

Hello,

White card 675 has 2 versions - let's only look at the version that has the Investigate action on it. The Observe action on this card gives a white 736 card, which is a permanent event with 3 gold arrows on it pointing to the top, left, and bottom. I believe this means we have the choice to place it in any of those 3 positions.

Let's place it below 675, arrow pointing up. Now take the Investigate action on card 675, which gives a green 695... and the green 695 card is also a permanent event with an arrow pointing up. But we can't place it below 675 because 736 is already there!

Is this an error?

Should cards 418 and 428 have the gold investigate action on their right-facing permanent event arrows indicating that the investigate action can no longer be taken on card 374 (since the portcullis is already open)? Is this an (admittedly very minor) error, or am I missing something?

Well spoted!
These gold arrows on card 418/428 should indeed have the already performed "Go see" action icon.

Thanks Bruno! Any chance you can post updated images of these cards so we can print them out (similar to the other 3 images on the errata page)? And then also update the errata 2.1 list to version 2.2 to include these 2 as well?

I realize it's a few years old at this point, but with the current success/hotness of 7th Citadel, more people will be picking up and/or dusting off 7th Continent as well.

Thanks!

When you are on card 374, you can take the investigate action to get card 384. This is a permanent event with the portcullis that can be opened with the rope. If you successfully open the portcullis, you get card 394, which is a maze (also a permanent event) that replaces 384. When you navigate the maze, you place a "bridge" card - either 418 or 428, depending which part of the maze you chose - where 394 was, and then take card 402 and place your figure(s) on it. When you're ready, you can then move back across the "bridge" card (either 418 or 428) back to where you started on 374.

At this point, 374 and 402 are still in place, with the permanent event "bridge" (418 or 428) connecting them. However, you are now able to take the investigate action on 374 again - the one that shows the closed portcullis... even though you already opened the portcullis and walked through that hallway!

Should cards 418 and 428 have the gold investigate action on their right-facing permanent event arrows indicating that the investigate action can no longer be taken on card 374 (since the portcullis is already open)? Is this an (admittedly very minor) error, or am I missing something?

Is there a way to get both sides of the card posted so that it can be printed more easily? For all 3 WGUMCD cards, the errata section PDFs just show one side. However, the other 2 individual cards' forum posts have a Droplr link that contains both sides.

Thanks!
