Silverado check engine light and rough idle, feeling lost

This is my first post here so go easy on me. My 2018 Silverado started idling rough about two weeks ago and now the check engine light is on solid. It doesn't flash, just stays on. The truck still drives but it feels down on power and the fuel consumption has gone up noticeably. I'm not mechanically minded at all so I have no idea where to start. A colleague at work suggested I look for expert Chevy service and repair near ICAD Abu Dhabi since I work in that area, but I don't know what a fair price looks like or what questions to ask. Has anyone had similar symptoms on a Silverado? Was it spark plugs, coils, injectors, something with the intake? I'd like to walk in knowing roughly what I might be dealing with instead of just nodding along.
